Women Liam Payne ‘spent last hours with’ left ‘devastated’ over singer’s tragic death

Two women who spent time with Liam Payne before his devastating death are said to be completely devastated after his death, just moments after they left him

The women who spent time with Liam Payne before his death have reportedly been left “devastated”.

Liam tragically died aged 31 on Wednesday, October 16, after falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the hours leading up to his heartbreaking death, he spent time with Aldana Serrano, 31, and Lucila Goitea, 27, at the Casa Sur Hotel. The group arrived at the swanky hotel around 11.30am local time on Wednesday and headed to Liam’s suite at the hotel.

But they left five hours later at 4pm – just one hour before Liam tragically fell from his balcony. During Liam’s final moments, he was said to be arguing with a mystery woman in the lobby of his hotel over money. He tragically fell 45ft, landing in the inner courtyard of the hotel.

Reception staff had desperately called 911 following concerns that a man was believed to be under the influence of drink and drugs and was acting aggressively. Now, sources reportedly say Serrano and Goitea are “devastated”.

A pal told the Sunday Mirror: “They have been cooperative from the moment they found out Liam died. They have told police they did nothing wrong and left well before he fell. The two girls have vowed to continue help investigators and have said they will speak to police at any time.”

Speaking to The Sun, they said: “Aldana and Lucila are absolutely devastated by what happened after they left the hotel. They co-operated with the police as soon as they were contacted and wanted to help with the investigation as much as possible.

“Police have the girls’ phone numbers and they will contact them as and when they need if they feel they need any more information.” Both women are from the downtown area of Buenos Aires. Police had questioned five people, two of which were the women who Liam was seen with for a “reconstruction of his last hours”.

Speaking on an Argentinian television programme, a local reporter said: “He was with two women in his room where there was access to drugs. I’m not going to say they’re surnames. “[Woman A] gave a statement last night and [Woman B] has just finished hers.” Prosecutors said in their first official statement they had questioned five witnesses, saying two were women and three were hotel workers, and confirmed Liam had 25 separate injuries.

In the lengthy statement they also confirmed they had taken away “several substances” from Liam’s room they believe would show he had consumed drugs before plunging to his death from a third-floor hotel balcony. It is not yet clear who police think could have supplied him with drugs.

A forensic report established that Liam had suffered 25 injuries as a result of his catastrophic fall. They also pointed out that the cranioencephalic injuries were sufficiently suitable to cause death, while the internal and external haemorrhages in the skull, thorax, abdomen and limbs contributed to the mechanism of death.”

The forensic experts also considered that, having analysed his hands, no defensive injuries were found, that all the injuries on the body were life-threatening and produced at the same time, and that no injuries were observed that would suggest the intervention of third parties.
