Tim Allen and Richard Karn are Working on a New Sitcom Together: “It Won’t Be for the Woke”
Are you still a big fan of “Home Improvement?”. If you are, there’s some very exciting news ahead. Star of stage and screen and former cocaine mule Tim Allen has teamed up once again with Richard Karn, his castmate from the popular sitcom, and they’re intending to launch a new program within the next year.
“Home Improvement was really popular with the older folks, we’re all well aware,” says Karn. “We’ve read all the misspelled letters smeared with Metamucil and frozen pot pies. We’re going to bring back that magic.”
The magic he’s speaking of will hopefully be on the new show : “Home Improverment”, a very similar show to Allen’s already familiar wheelhouse. Allen will be playing Tim “The Tool Gentleman” Almond, a TV show host with a family, friends, and a mysterious neighbor.
Does that sound familiar? Allen’s agent, Josephi Barroni, tells us why that might be.
“Yeah, Tim isn’t very creative or imaginative. That’s why he constantly just recycles old jokes and situations.
In fact, the whole first season of the new show is just shot-for-shot remakes of episodes of Home Improvement. So, it’ll be a lot of what you oatmeal swallowers are comfortable with.”
Allen and friends are already shooting the pilot episode and intend to be ready by September 31st of this year.
