Amanda and ex-Strictly pro Giovanni Pernice are locked in a bitter bullying row

Pals told The Sun Amanda, 50, was planning to sue the BBC for loss of earnings and damages and wanted to discuss how they could move forward.

The BBC upheld six of the 17 complaints she made against Giovanni Pernice on Strictly last year but friends close to Amanda said the case was far from closed.

A source said: “Amanda is going into a meeting with the BBC tomorrow and she means business.

“There are a lot of questions she wants answered before she takes her next steps.

“Amanda had a terrible time on Strictly and while she is grateful to the BBC for apologising to her, there is a lot of ground she wants to go over.

“She knows the meeting will be dredging up over a lot of old ground which she finds incredibly traumatic.

“But Amanda is determined to get the answers she needs.”

The Sun first revealed how Amanda was preparing to sue the Beeb earlier this month.

She told us at the time: “I want to take the time to consider the report in detail with my advisers before deciding what happens next.”

The BBC’s bombshell 30 page report was handed to Amanda and Giovanni, 34, after the probe had concluded

Insiders said Giovanni was expected to meet with the BBC in the coming weeks too.

The probe found Giovanni used swear words and “belittling” language and gave negative feedback to Amanda when they were paired on Strictly.

It also found two moments of “inappropriate behaviour of sexual banter in the workplace”.
