Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were seen leaving their Tribeca apartment in New York City on Wednesday morning, following the release of the latest episode of their popular podcast, New Heights. The couple has been enjoying a romantic getaway in the city after celebrating the Chiefs’ recent victory and Kelce’s 35th birthday.

The duo, who have quickly become one of the most talked-about celebrity couples, were spotted boarding a luxurious Gulfstream jet on Tuesday evening, flying from Kansas City to New York.

They were joined by Swift’s father, Scott Swift, who boarded the plane alongside his daughter before Kelce arrived in his white Hummer at 7:00 p.m. Kelce, who reportedly tried to drive the vehicle onto the runway, had to wait as the gate was locked.

The Chiefs star is on a brief break from football, with no team obligations until the Chiefs begin preparing for their October 20th game against the San Francisco 49ers.

As they left their apartment on Wednesday morning, Swift and Kelce were reportedly heading to visit some of Swift’s close friends in New York City before her return to her record-breaking Eras tour. The couple’s relationship has become the subject of fascination for fans and media alike, especially with their busy careers making time together more challenging. Swift is set to resume her tour soon, and the couple may not be seeing each other regularly until December.

In the latest episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother and fellow NFL player Jason Kelce, Travis opened up about how his relationship with Swift has expanded his culinary horizons. Travis, known for being a self-proclaimed picky eater, revealed that Swift has been introducing him to new foods. When asked by Jason if he liked curry, Travis laughed and said he’s “starting to open up to lighter cuisine,” crediting Swift for helping him explore new culinary experiences.

“She’s introducing you to new foods,” Jason said during the episode, to which Travis replied, “Yeah, that’s been one of the coolest things I’ve ever had fun with.” Kelce shared that Swift introduced him to an Israeli restaurant in Philadelphia that he now enjoys, even though he admits he’s still selective about what he eats.

“I’m still picky when it comes to what I eat there or what’s on the table, but at the same time, I love to dance,” Travis joked, referencing his playful approach to food. He noted that his mental block about certain foods often comes from how they look, comparing some dishes to baby food or baby poop.

Swift and Kelce’s relationship blossomed after the NFL star’s playful attempt to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number at one of her Eras tour shows in Kansas City in July 2023. The pair made their relationship official in September, when Swift attended her first Chiefs game to cheer for Kelce. Since then, Swift has been spotted at several of Kelce’s games, including the 2024 Super Bowl and a recent Monday Night Football game.

Kelce has reciprocated Swift’s support, attending multiple Eras tour concerts during the NFL off-season, even joining her on stage at Wembley Stadium in London in June. As the couple continues to balance their high-profile careers, they remain one of the most buzzed-about couples in entertainment and sports.
