BREAKING: New NFL Rule Implemented To ‘Protect’ Travis Kelce Amid Taylor Swift Romance: Report

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s popularity saw a massive uptick since he started dating Taylor Swift more than a year ago. Right now, he’s emerged as one of the most well-known athletes on the planet, which in part, can be attributed to the fact that his girlfriend is arguably the biggest celebrity in the world.

This immense fame comes at a price, though.

Kelce was already one of the top tight ends in the NFL even before he met Swift, which means that his celebrity status was already considerable, to begin with. There’s no denying, however, that this reached new heights as he continued dating Swift.

So much so that the NFL has reportedly implemented a new rule to protect Kelce’s privacy. According to a report by Radar, the press has now been banned from conducting post-game interviews inside the locker rooms.

“While reporters will still have access to players for interviews, the locker room will no longer be part of the equation,” said the source. “Instead, interviews will now be conducted in separate, designated areas, with each team determining the location.”

Radar’s source then went on to note that while the league is saying that this new mandate is aimed at safeguarding the security of all the players in the NFL, “everyone knows it is to protect Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.”

For what it’s worth, this is a policy that players have been requesting from the league for a considerable time now.

However, the source also pointed out that “no one believes it’s just a coincidence that the new rules are being implemented now” amid Swift and Kelce’s extremely high-profile relationship and how it has impacted the league.
